Dr. Ariana Antonio

Driven by a passion for enhancing athletic performance and facilitating recovery, Dr. Ariana Antonio is a dedicated Sports Physical Therapist focused on helping individuals reach their peak physical potential and overcome barriers associated with injuries. After facing a series of bone stress injuries that sidelined her from playing basketball and running track during her senior year of high school, Ariana was motivated to turn her own challenges into a career focused on helping others address and rise above similar setbacks.


Ariana holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. She further advanced her expertise by completing a sports residency program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland in Walnut Creek,CA. During her residency, she honed both her clinical and on-field skills, allowing her to address a wide range of injuries, from acute to chronic stages, and provided her with a comprehensive understanding of sports-related rehabilitation and performance optimization.
Her approach is centered on encouragement and empowerment. Ariana is dedicated to providing her patients with personalized, effective strategies to achieve their goals and supporting them throughout their recovery journey. She takes pride in motivating patients to go beyond their perceived limits with respect and inspiration.


Outside of her professional life, Ariana is a devoted cat mom of two and enjoys spending quality time with her husband, close friends, and family. She finds joy in playing basketball, running, weight training, and hiking. Ariana is also an avid coffee enthusiast and loves unwinding with a good book. She is excited to be part of the Progressive Motion team, where she looks forward to collaborating with colleagues to support athletes of all levels in their pursuit of optimal performance and well-being.
